As reported by Forbes this week, Oracle is introducing new role-based AI agents to its Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management suite. These agents are designed to automate everyday tasks and offer personalised assistance, enabling users to boost their productivity. Oracle believes these tools will relieve employees from repetitive duties, like gathering information, allowing them to concentrate on more strategic tasks. Based on the demo I was shown in advance, it appears they’re heading in s the right direction.
The agents are built to support several key areas of the employee experience, such as recruitment, onboarding, career development, performance evaluations, and managing compensation and benefits. These agents mirror and integrate with AI-driven features already introduced in other parts of Oracle Fusion Cloud, such as supply chain management. In the broader context, they continue the growing trend of incorporating agent-based AI into enterprise applications, a development we’ve observed over the past few months.
